Service

OTEAC have a wealth of experience in the supply, maintenance and hire of a wide range of respiratory protective equipment including full duration breathing apparatus, escape sets, airline apparatus, containerised systems and smoke hoods.

We are agents for Scott/Sabre and MSA and can in addition service equipment from a wide range of manufacturers including Draeger and Cam Lock. Many of our service personnel are multi disciplined and have undertaken both Scott/Sabre, Draeger and Cam Lock maintenance training.

Our onshore workshops and integrated safety containers mean that we can undertake inspection and maintenance either at our service centre facility or on site, whether on or offshore.

We have the facility to design cascade bank and manifold systems which may be either trailer mounted, free standing or containerised. These can be bespoke systems customised to customer specific requirements.

Hire

We have a wide range of breathing apparatus and escape sets available for hire which affords our customer the benefit of fully certified equipment whilst their own is in for repair or during campaign maintenance, shutdowns or turnaroundsto satisfy peak demand without the capital expenditure of purchasing additional new equipment.

Cylinder Testing

We are an approved UKAS test station for breathing air cylinders, whether steel, aluminium or composite construction.

Training

Oteac can provide product familiarisation training courses for respiratory protective equipment either on-site or in our dedicated training centre

Computerised Test Rig

Oteac service centre and our containerised workshops are equipped with the latest 'Posicheck' computerised test rigs which can automatically test the performance of a breathing appartaus set and produce a computer generated certificate to reflect performance. These records are subsequently available in our maintenance tracking system.

Air Purity

Oteac have a fleet of state-of-the-art portable air purity analysis test benches which measure breathing air quality for all contaminants in compliance with EN12021. Results can be stored electronically if required.

Cylinder Refilling

Our service centre is equipped with a high pressure breathing air compressor with integral air purity analysis monitoring system which exceeds both EN and diving industry requirements. A cascade air bank is kept permanently filled in addition to charging panels which have the facility to refill breathing air cylinders up to 300bar.
