Foam Testing
OTEAC have the facility to undertake Foam Testing for either concentrate or produced foam.
BS 5306, NFPA11, IMO, Oil and Gas UK and HSE guidance all recommend that foam is tested at least on an annual basis.
Our technical support staff can advise on the method and requirements to draw these samples and information which should be included in the labelling.
Foam concentrate can degrade due to ageing, extremes of temperature and contamination. This can be identified by laboratory analysis and subsequent fire testing to verify performance where required.
Foam Testing Laboratory
Oteac have a dedicated foam testing facility where we have the ability to analyse all of the common ranges of foam concentrates used for fire fighting.
