Forth Electrical Services (FES) was established in 1963 by Duncan Fletcher. Their capabilities include principal contractor, building, prefabrication, technical, fit-out and facilities management services.
Julie, the Account Manager, is responsible for managing the hard and soft services as well as ensuring her client’s buildings are fully compliant and maintained. For open projects, she ensures the scope of services and advises clients on best practice.

What led you to Oteac?
When I joined FES FM, my client was working with Oteac. I have always found that Oteac delivers competitive pricing without affecting a quality service.
What makes our product or service stand out against other companies?
Accreditation – FES have a very strict evaluation process that cannot be bypassed - Oteac is happy to comply.
Cost-savings – Oteac gets necessary materials and provide us with workarounds to closed protocol systems - which has saved our client money. They go above and beyond to repair parts rather than replacing entire systems.
Availability – There is always someone available to send me service reports which with helpful summaries of the problem and solution. Additionally, the office provides quick tender turnarounds, allowing me to issue purchase orders.
Is there a particular aspect of our service that you rely on most?
Response– Both in normal business hours and outside of normal business hours. If a system is down, we need to get it up and running as soon as possible. Managing facilities and adhering to Service Level Agreements our response times are critical. Oteac staff are always helpful in getting an Engineer to a site as quickly as possible. Once their Engineers are on site, they communicate with me, removing the mystery from technical details. This helps me determine, when I call for an onsite visit, what is critical and what can wait a few hours.
Technological knowledge – The team at Oteac is up-to speed with technological standards. For example, when had a BT phone line become disconnected they produced a solution by installing a GSM device. This not only fixed our problem, but also provided a cost-effective solution as we will be able to use it should we relocate buildings. Because I advise my customers on best practices and systems, I value how the team at Oteac educates me on new technologies - this saves me time. I trust they have my client’s best interest in mind.

Quality: Their installations are high-quality and of high-specification. I know when they are on a job it will be done well.
